That is a fair comment but players wages are still being paid in full and they are highly likely to make some signings worth millions of pounds. By comparison the match day revenue is relatively small. Shouldn't they look at that before making a decision that doesn't allow someone to opt out...

As you say the administration for opting out and then back in would be too difficult but the administration to let people opt out completely now is surely very easy?

I've voted yes, because we have five tickets, and there is a very good chance that one of our party would not want or be able to go, and therefore the option to opt out completely for a season (whilst retaining their seat for future seasons) would be fairer for them.
