Based on grounds I have been to, only about 15% have fans behind the goal.
Only Charlton, Huddersfield and Brentford in our division, that I can think of. Some give part of the stand behind the goal but only these three give the bit behind the goal.
I would put them in half of the East/half of the South.
Ideally you'd stick them up in the East Upper but that's probably not practical.
Replacing the family stand area is also not a bad shout and then move the family stand to the South. Would also mean away fans are nearer the train station.
Time and time again we are seeing a large away following come to our ground and have a party cheering their team on to victory in the second half. I can count on one hand the amount of grounds that give is the whole end behind a goal. Yes you win or lose on the pitch but we don't need to make it...
