On a side issue I walked along that WSU front row and it really is quite a low wall. The thought of lots of pissed up people jumping around is quite a scary one!!!
I agree with this they have responded quickly and probably as best they can.
However in my view it is still a restricted seat and I wouldn't want to sit there. If I was I would expect a reduction.
Yes it's two panes of very solid glass.
And yep they need to be kept very clean. Personally it would still reduce my enjoyment but is an improvement on the metal barrier.
Just been there tonight for another tour and the glass barriers are now in place. They are strong double panes put together. I think overall they are definitely better than the previous metal barriers. I have taken some photos which I will put up as soon as possible.
So low wall, lot's of pissed up people and hopefully high chance of jumping up and down.
That's it I'm wearing a helmet to every game. I don't want some pissed up fat fucker landing on me thank you very much.
Can you not all hold hands throughout the games just in case?
My picture was of the West Stand Upper. Just as bad, and worse still they are likely to be diehard fans as I guess the front row would have sold the quickest. I just feel really sorry for them and really hope that the club can sort them out a great solution.
I think HB&B because you have been such an arrogant f*** over being in the 1901 that some people think we are all like that. We are not.
But back to the point, wherever the problem exists it's a big problem for those individuals. I can't see how Perspex is going to make it that much better...
sorry you're right. I just meant that they're supposed to be the best seats in the ground but that one with the barrier is the worst! But you're right anyone who has got the barrier in there way should feel equally aggrieved.
The picture I took of the upper West one is further left than the tv...
The one of took from the West Stand Upper was quite literally taken whilst sitting in that seat, with my iphone from in front of my face. Yes it's a fixed point and you can move your head but it is still a restricted view seat and should've been sold as such.
I totally agree. Especially in the case of the 1901 one. That is a platinum seat, front row, middle of the stand. It should be the best seat in the stadium and would have been sold as such. Instead it is probably nearly one of the worst. I would be fuming.
