Fully expecting a London attack soon. It doesn't affect my decision whether bombing is correct or not, but I think it'll prove bombing won't make us safer. That being said, I think the general ignorant public will use a London attack as proof we should be bombing Syria.

I think the point is there is more than one way to destroy ISIS. Bombing isn't the answer, as has been proven many times in the past. Russia support the Kurds and there was talk yesterday of providing arms. Turkey are bombin the Kurds and are using the fight against ISIS as a cover for wiping out their enemy. Russia want to (have?) give the Kurds SAMs, something Turkey will hate.

Absolutely spot on. America, SA and Turkey all have alterior motives in this conflict, wiping out ISIS is secondary at best for all three. Why commit ourselves when our 'allies' will be supporting them underhandedly?
