I took your advice and looked him up. He was a fine man, of that there is no doubt. My mild 'dislike' was not with respect to him as a person but I always felt he was simply too intense as an actor. Going back a few years, I developed a bit of a dislike for Burt Lancaster. Not a big fan of Charlton 'Chuck' Heston either but that's mostly because of his support of the NRA.
