Outstanding work. (we need some kind of WHC smilie...)
If I could add another stat(one the croc won't want to hear): No animal other than the Polar Bear has ever retained the title. In fact, I believe the only champion to even make it to the final the year after winning is the...
By my reckoning five of the eight quarter finalists (S.T, G.W.S, M.S.B, Wolverine and G.M) have never made the final. Could this be a turning point? Or will the old guard show why they're the old guard and make up three quarters of the semi finalists?

number 4, Honey...
number 3. The Siberian Tiger. He's having a fine tournament. He's already seen off one champion -the Orca- in the previous round so will feel confident of repeating the trick.
O.K. Quarter final three will be:
number 1. The Salt water croc. He's a formidable opponent for any of the remaining competitors- a four time finalist and reigning champion.
He'll be facing off against...
The second quarter final will be...
number5, the great white shark
and he'll be battling against...
number 7. Thats the grasshopper mouse. I think I'm correct in saying neither of these beasts has made it to the semi finals before, so this is a fantastic opportunity for one of them.
Ladies and Gents, we are down to the business end of WHC IX. These eight combatants have shown their mettle to get this far and are now just two victories away from the Animal Dome. If they thought getting here was tough it's going to get off the wall serious from here on in. The slightest...
