Another loan might be tricky (or even downright illegal) - he's already played for two teams (us and Cheltenham) this season.

He's also played once for Brighton in the EFL trophy this season - so we can't loan him out again this season (unless EFL trophy matches aren't counted?). He may have played for us in PL2 this season before going out loan too; if so, that would probably rule him out of another loan. I hope Weir...

Nonetheless, #DudsFarm's point is valid - Clarke has said in interview (linked the the Cheltenham fans' forum) that late loanees and U21s aren't up to it, as League1 football is very different to U21 football.

Don't know about cup tied - but it may complicate loaning him out to a better loan in January (the three clubs in a season rule?)

Shame Harry Kane, Ian Wright and Jamie Vardy never made it then! True, most youngsters who start out apprentices won't make it to the top - but not on the basis of four short cameos for a dodgy side at the bottom of League 1 without a goal in 11 matches!

So why do they keep scheduling U21 games at tmes when they are not allowed to stream them? You cannot deny they've done it several times this season.

It just saves them the bother (and the minimal expense) of streaming it, I suppose. They keep doing it though, and we just miss out on watching the games. :(
