He certainly wasn't a donkey for us in two seasons in the Championship. The PL may be a step too far for him (none of us know that for definite, but it's not unlikely) but he hasn't had much time to adapt yet - and it can't be easy adapting when playing much of the time in front of a somewhat...

Don't disagree with any of that, but after the way the game went today - for a good hour we were in control and it looked only a matter of time before one of our shots rolled into the back of the net - and we hit the woodwork three times, we were that close - I feel a bit deflated. Only one team...

At 3 o'clock I'd have taken a draw - and thus a point gained - with delight. However, having spent the time from about thirty minutes in through to about 70/75 thinking we were going to nick a goal at any time - and we didn't - it now feels like two points dropped, to be honest.
