Do you use the bus at all? Because if you do, you should get down on your knees and thank us OAPs. Without the money the bus companies get paid for conveying us for free, many of the bus services you might use just wouldn't exist.

I think you'll find you can't use it in Wales or NI either (assuming yours is an English bus pass). I was lucky enough to qualify for my bus pass and OAP before they started messing about with the ages for eligibility (just!) - but I do have a great deal of sympathy for those a few years...
