Appeared to be. Not saying it was fact, just appeared to be. As in, "Had a great start, but........"? I don't know. I wasn't there, but it sounds a bit like that. The fans on the forum didn't seem impressed. OK, let's try loaning him out again. I want him to succeed, just trying to discuss...

Hadn't seen that quote from Chris Wilder before. That's good. But I do remember quite a lot of negativity from Oxford fans at the time. Not saying they were right and Chris Wilder wrong, just saying what I remember. OK, let's loan him out to a League 1 club. Would seem to be a good move from all...

Not confusing. The big matches were the finals (group stages). Having played in all (?) of the qualifiers, he was dropped to the bench for the first two matches in the finals. Somebody must have decided there were better options (whether that was right or wrong we'll never know). Don't get me...

Still, he's back in the frame again...

Not a dig at all. With the midfield options we've got at the moment, JFC isn't likely to get a lot of game time, so the dilemma is, how do we develop the good player that certainly appeared to be in there somewhere when he first broke through? Discuss - or don't if you can't be bothered.

Please identify where in my post I suggested selling him on, or any other course of action. That's right, I didn't. Idiot yourself.

Ah yes, JFC, the enigma. Picked by loads of managers, so he must be good (according to his supporters) - and in the England U21s that qualified for the recent shenanigans. BUT, dropped like a hot potato when the serious stuff started, and better players were available for the finals. Loan to a...
