Yeh - all he ever does is score goals! (and, to be fair, it took him long enough to start doing that!) Still, if finally starting to score gets him going, then fine - we were always told there was supposed to be a good player in there somewhere, even if there wasn't a great deal of supporting...
Makes it all the more surprising that we signed him at all then. In retrospect, it does give a degree of credence to those that questioned the need for us to have four (first team) goalkeepers on the books at all.
Not bad - surprised (but not disappointed) to see Walton ahead of Al-Habsi. Would prefer Tex to Gardner, and McCourt for LuaLua (who is still in my mind best as an impact sub). Wonder what the formation will be? Looks OK for a 4-3-3, but if going for 4-2-3-1, who will be the advanced midfielder...
