It probably (read: almost certainly) is too optimistic to think our fate will be settled today in the simplest way that is left available, but maybe just this once the football gods could spare us last day/minute dramas? It's blind faith, but I'm going to cling to it just the same.

I have a feeling it'll all be settled this weekend. I think Palace will turn Cardiff over today, so that's that sorted irrespective of what we do tomorrow, and I fancy the Toon to beat Liverpool and hand City the title with a win on Monday.
