You do indeed remember rightly. My personal favourite group is Bon Jovi, but stuff like Queen, Springsteen, GNR and of course VH, are great too.

The debut, self-titled one. Erupion, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, Running With The Devil, Jamie's Cryin' etc... Eruption is still one of the greatest guitar pieces ever IMO.
