    We knew De Zerbi teams relied on scoring more than they concede from day 1 but not really playing until the second half and conceding soft goals with regular monotony, often two in quick succession is not a recipe for “we should be beating teams like…..” I do not begrudge Burnley their point...

    No it doesn’t, I can’t see how much of a deflection it took so hard to lay the blame on him but from the angles I saw it looks to me like he could possibly have done better. It did not look like a massive deflection

    All about opinions, not a single challenge went in on the Burnley build up, it was a very soft goal imo. I also think Verbruggen could have done better deflection or not, but I’m not blaming him

    it was but I lost count of the number of times I had my head in my hands as we conceded a soft goal…again and missed chance after chance.

    It could have been worse, I think Burnley’s last PL away win was against…..Brighton. We could easily have lost that game on how things went. I have just watched Villa get every break going to continue their impressive run. At times I thought Arsenal could have been the Albion today :smile:

    Anyone else fear the end result, before kick off, would be a draw or a loss regardless of how dominant we might have been? I was talking about settling for a point at half time :lolol:
