Agreed re today although I keep thinking that and we keep winning!
Think it is being quite greedy too. And QPR and Fulham both had nothing to play for and actually we weren't great in either game until we scored the first goal. Brentford and Leeds were impressive, as was Bristol City away, but...
Still close in the end though. Where I think we have been stronger is taking our chances so maybe there were games last year, especially the first half of the season, where we dominated and didn't finish teams off. This year we've maybe been less dominant at times (had less possession and shots)...
There were still a lot of close games in the second half of the season e.g. Forest, Birmingham and MK away, Reading and Bolton home etc but there were comprehensive wins too. We are winning games comprehensively this season at times too. You mention Norwich as the only one but I would say...
This time last year we hadn't beaten a team by more than one goal. Hardly destroying teams. It was the second half of the season where we started to beat teams comprehensively.
Completely agree. I think Derby are the bigger threat overall (especially as they seem to be spending again this window) but Leeds are closer to us currently so we definitely want a draw.
As others have said, it is all down to us in a way. If we win tomorrow, we will gain ground on at least one...
