If you seriously think NSC is a cross section of Brighton supporters, then you're deluded. Most Brighton fans I know regard NSC as full of over reactionary rubbish, like the Stockdale threads. It mainly attracts supporters with an axe to grind so as a fair cross section of our fans, I would say...
Sorry, I didn't realise that we only had 175 fans and they'd all voted in those polls. Also, as with managers, those polls are a farce as people are pissed off after the game and more likely to want to sack the manager, drop a player etc. I imagine it would be different if the poll was run on...
I've given up arguing with the mob who want to lynch Stockdale. As someone else said, if he plays and keeps a clean sheet on Tuesday, you'll all change your mind.
However, at least get your facts right, Kuszczak was only here for two years, not three.
The fact that you say "turd keeper" shows what a great fan you are.
As for being in a minority, I think I'm probably in the majority of fans who don't over react to one mistake and post abuse at him on a forum. This is a very small cross section of people who mainly have an axe to grind. I'm...
Yes, really. He has done really well over the last couple of months. He's made one mistake in that time and even that he would probably not have got to anyway. The Blackpool goal wasn't his fault, and even if you're blinkered anti Stockdale view thought it was, 6 points is a joke as it was 0-0...
Complete rubbish. One of our best players in the last three months. Sadly, there seem to be a lot of people waiting to slag him off after one mistake. As I said earlier in the thread, a sad reflection on our fans
I was going long before then too despite growing up in London where everyone supports Arsenal, Tottenham, Man U etc.
I don't think I'm blinkered. To me, Stockdale has been one of our best players in the last three months and he's getting very unfair stick from many, including you. As I said...
I would have thought quoting that post made it clear but maybe I should have written what you said again too.
The reference of being a member since 2004 was aimed at you suggesting I didn't go to games and also your bizarre comment that standing up for a player means I'm their missus!
Thanks. You've proved my point. I've won the argument.
Out of interest, considering I signed up on NSC in 2004 (before you), I'm intrigued about your logic.
So form is not relevant. I dispute last week (as said elsewhere) and today I doubt he'd have got to. He took the blame for one goal, vs Charlton, early season and made a mistake against Cardiff but he's done very well in the last few months. To drop him after one mistake would be a poor decision...
Funny. You say that I don't go to games as I support Stockdale and that's okay. Yet I suggest harshly slagging off a player shows you're not a great fan and you get angry. Double standards?
To me, supporting your team involves backing the players and not slagging them off irrationally but...
I did and it wasn't his fault. You clearly are anti Stockdale. A sad reflection of our fans. I've only missed three games this season but clearly those extra two games must be why you're right
It went in off the post. He probably wouldn't have got it whatever you think. The Blackpool goal wasn't his fault unless you have an anti Stockdale agenda. We have crap fans!
