    If he's as good as they say he is, I doubt Lenihan would be development squad. It's our main chance over Hull as presumably he would be there. If he fulfils his potential, I'd see him as alternating with Calde/Bruno this year and then being our main right back from next season onwards. Anyway...

    I agree and obviously that's what made Ward's mind up, for example. The only question with a young player is development. Sometimes at 20, you're better off taking slightly less money so you develop quicker and can earn more in the future. Not saying it will be relevant here, just that sometimes...

    Not going to get too worked up about this. If he signs, that would be great but if we lose out to a Premier League team, then that's hardly an insult to us.
