Absolutely - definitely thinking of a weekend with the bikes for this. They'll be heading in a clockwise direction next year I would've thought - so there is always a chance the race will pass fairly close to Dieppe again which may be another option....? (Unless it heads more SE from the Grand...

Great stuff! Found myself really tensing up watching some of those crashes and close calls! Always amazed at the speeds they go at such close proximity to one another too...brilliant. Was that a sign of Froomes tiredness right at the end as well? Saying it was a good job there wasn't one more...

Ignore my thumbs down reply earlier....its showing me a thumbs down on the post for some reason, but a thumbs up on my notifications?! Its all over the place like Abdujaparov on the Champs Elysees.... Great little highlights video on the cycling weekly page (after the Sky article) recapping...

Why the thumbs down on my comment about Adam Hansen doing 12 GT in a row?!? Thought it was quite an accomplishment myself....

Also forgot Adam Hansen and his incredible feat of 12 Grand Tours in a row...quite astonishing. He definitely deserves that beer every time he goes up Alpe d'Huez!!

Loved every minute of this years edition. I'm not a huge Sky fan tbh, but I thought they pretty much rode a flawless race, with G a standout performer for the vast majority of it. Thought Porte and Poels were exceptional too. Such a shame that Kennaugh didn't make it to Paris though... Other...

Sure I saw someone else spit in Froomes face just now - along with the boos you can hear I wonder if any Maillot jaune has ever had so much vitriol thrown his way as Froome has? Sad to see...

Not sure a big break will go today, but I reckon a lone rider may get a few minutes on the pack. I'm going for Rolland to win today, with Froome & Quintana bringing home what's left of the peloton a couple of minutes back....

...and then promptly went out the back when the Glandon started! Tough day in the saddle today, but "chapeau" Romain...."chapeau"!

Really looking forward to todays stage - unfortunately at work so I cant put my feet up with a beer or snacks, but lucky that I can watch the itv4 coverage on my pc in the office. Excited to see the Glandon (what a beast!) followed by the winding Les Lacets de Montvernier....possibly the most...

Good ride from Talansky today....and a few more points gathered for my fantasy team! Hope he can do some more in the last few days as he's been pretty anonymous so far this tour.

Loving the views of todays stage - the Col d'Aspin is one climb I would love to tackle. Don't know why, but its always been my favourite, over the likes of the Tourmalet, Alpe d'Huez etc. One day......

Awful news about Basso - fingers crossed he makes a full recovery and is back racing soon. Always liked him.

Have a great time! I'm really tempted to take my bike over for a day or 2 after yesterdays jaunt. There were loads of Brit riders on the ferry heading off into the countryside before the stage went through Dieppe, & it looks a lovely place for riding. Would it be safe for a 9 year old do you...
