Because he has delivered a £2million reduction in TB's contribution at the same time as increasing the playing budget, whilst staying within FFP limits.
I think the way he handled a certain ex-manager related issue, which was settled without compensation, may have impressed the judges too...
He is very good at the job set for him by TB, so good to get some recognition for it.
Just because some of us don't like the growing pains taken by the club in going from a £7million a year to a £25million a year business doesn't mean that PB is bad at what he does.
