:lolol: I used to race home for the last couple of hours of Test matches. During the hols I was glued to it as it was on a lot. I don't come from a cricket family and honestly believe that if it hadn't been on the box I wouldn't have pursued it.

Shame it's not on free to view- and they wonder why cricket is struggling with interest these days. Perhaps if youngsters could watch it that might help.

It wasn't a flat top like we usually see at The Oval. Something in it for the bowlers. Good old one day pitch for the purists- few of whom seem to be left.

Archer reminds me of a slightly tighter Joel Garnerin in his delivery. Hopefully he'll be as effective. Garner was, for me, the best one day bowler.
