What is probably happening is that as they increase the number of 1901's, there will be fewer normal season tickets available. Supply and demand will dictate that they can RAMP the prices up even further for them.
Perhaps they're selling SO MANY 1901 memberships that its enabling them to SLASH the prices on normal season tickets. They're just in the process of working out exactly how much cheaper they can make it for everyone else.

If all the Albion exists for is to make money, then yes.
But if the Albion truley is a "community" club, and playing in the "community" stadium, then no. Football is for the people, and ordinairy fans should not be priced out of continuing to support their local team.

If 1901 members get priority over STH's at the Amex for those kind of fixtures, then that, as far as I'm concerned, really would suck the BIG one.
