[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Christ how pathetic can you get. I'm not a real football fan because I said Premier League rather than top flight? Lucky I'm not as pernickety as you otherwise I'd be inclined to point out that you don't seem to know how punctuation works. You're right it was the worst start to a top flight...

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Number of new seats x average price of new seat = increased revenue. It's between £5m-£10m a year when you factor in hospitality. Shall I go on?

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

That's a ridiculous technicality. West Ham don't own the Olympic stadium so by that reckoning they are homeless. Our collection of sheds generates a better atmosphere than Upton Park and Highbury combined - that's far more important to me than how it appears on the Sky cameras. Your mini...

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Nobody finds him that interesting yet your board racked up a 150 page thread on him in 3 weeks :D Boris removed me from the thread for having a giggle at it. This one is now 15 pages strong.

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Wan-Bissaka broke through last season for a start. The stand is estimated at between 75-100. The current stand stays open during construction which maintains match day revenue. The investment from that stand is coming from the Americans. Totally agree about Wilf's value. Market value is...

No they are investors with a minority holding in the club.

Come on now mate have some self-respect. 'Goon' 'Spiv' When you consider that all of our owners are lifelong palace fans... it does call into question how intelligent you are.

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

The Pardew appointment landed us in a mess because he seemingly charmed Parish into changing our entire transfer set-up - not the first time he's done it. We're making considerable moves to correct it. A total of £20m spent in the last 2 windows is a good start. Paying 1m to extend Zaha's...

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

You won't find anyone denying that we went into administration. What you are saying re the name of our club is just legally incorrect. CPFC2010 is the name of the limited company that owns the club.

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Us along with every club outside of the top 7 are indeed an injury crisis away for being down there. Last season we had the worst start to a Premier League season in over 100 years owing to a terrible managerial appointment, the worst injury crisis Roy Hodgson had ever seen in a 40+ year...

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

The limited company that owns the club is 8 years old. The club is 113 years old. Hope this helps.

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Depends what sort of football fan you are. I'd always prefer Upton Park over the Olympic stadium and Highbury over the Emirates. Maybe the Withdean over the Amex is a bit of stretch I suppose. I do like the way you light up in Palace colours when we play you though.

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Is that other than the 100m invested in a new stand?! Who said anything about a firesale of players? We'll sell Zaha regardless - we all know that. Surprise surprise that none of you think we'll get any money for him - we're all pretty confident that we will. Remains to be seen what happens...

Think we might have changed ownership after those admins you know

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

We've had 6 years of Prem money so we can afford to put players on high wages. Potential resale of Meyer (who is on 80k) and Zaha are massive. We also didn't put anyone on remotely big money until we bought Cabaye in our 3rd season - pretty good value considering we only paid £10m for him...

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

His new contract is an extra £1m over the course of the year. You all seem to think we'd finish bottom of the league with no points without him so sounds like good business all round right?

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Will that one generate another 8 pages to add to the 150 pager that already exists? Boris actually banned me from the last one when I pointed out that he wasn't leaving. Very sensitive.

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

The anger on this board at the moment is very unhealthy. Is it because of the new 5 year contract with no release clause?

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

Fair enough. I'm not sure what the track record of issues is though. I think he joined Man Utd as a 20 year in pretty unfortunate circumstances when the club was in transition and then latterly crisis and by all accounts was miserable. I've seen nothing from him at Palace either before of after...

[Football] Where's the Zaha thread gone?

The whole failed at a big club narrative is hardly water tight. As others have pointed out Salah, De Bruyne, Pogba etc all needed two bites at the cherry. Incredibly unfortunate timing too to be signed by Ferguson, only to turn up and have Moyes as your manager - hardly an ideal scenario for a...
