Perhaps the recruitment team are actually doing a good job and finding decent players who are under the radar and good value. Not that many on here would agree with that even if he turned out to be the next Pirlo

Just got this from someone who knows a bit about Dutch football Aggressive holding midfielder, good shot, quite tenacious, bit reckless at times.

The system is becoming a bit clearer as it looks like he has been brought in as a deep lying midfielder to do the job that JFC isn't capable of. Looks like he will be tasked with launching quick attacks from deep. JFC has been playing that role and now we know why.
