Never mind the debates about who did/said what and whether they should have done or not.
Surely the crucial issues are that the club is willing and able to take such draconian measures against a loyal fan (or indeed anyone!) purely on the basis of other people's say so and that they don't have...
But throughout football there's the pervading attitude of "we know best, supporters are just a know-nothing rabble." Until this viewpoint of supporters as not having valid views and not knowing anything themselves then things won't really change.
For me the most damning bit is :
Quite amazing that action can be taken unilaterally against anyone without them even being given the right to a hearing or a chance to state their case! And an utterly arrogant attitude, too.
