    That is because after 20 minutes, Alzate did go to the left, Propper in the middle and Gross on the right. Not sure the formation is about opinions though. Just because you see a player in a role, doesn't mean that is his role in any given game.

    And in case your seat was facing the wrong way, here is a capture from just after kick off. Gross closing down the ball on the left wing and Propper on the right with Alzate in the middle. The swapped after 20 minutes or so but this was how we started the game so the line ups were correct.

    Gross started on the left yesterday and Propper on the right. And the third one was the Spurs game as I referenced that game as well. Just because a player attacks doesn't mean he isn't part of a 4. Burn was left back so it was 4 at the back in both games.

    Be interesting to see how the ref performs today. Been a big fan of the way he lets the game flow on the occasions I have seen him. He was the ref that spoke to the lino and correctly overruled an offside at the Amex last season. In theory, VAR should allow the step up of Championship referees...
