I’d rather the football improves rather than the decisions.
It’s the entitlement we have to being served like Gods which causes this demand for an error free reality. It’s a delusion that results in thinking one day everything will be perfect.
Agreed. It’s the chaos and drama VAR causes which helps sell the TV subscription fees and meaningless football talk shows. Football seems way more focused on the market of viewers who don’t attend the matches and can’t and never did play the game.

My bedroom window overlooks a park in town just off Dyke road. I see kids after school playing every day in that park, even in the winter. But yes , there’s a lot less kids running around these days than there were 60 years ago.

Get rid. Offside is a rule to keep the shape of the game and stop goal hanging. Since VAR, offside has become a thing about millimetres and toenails.
Only way VAR might be able to improve is if we go back to that season(s) when being offside required light between the attacker and the defender?
