That seems like a very bizarre decision, the Jets have finally built a decent roster.

Superb pick, delighted with the draft so far. Oliver was the 7th ranked TE so should be reasonable, probably an improvement on what we have anyway. Highlights suggest he’s a catch and run TE rather than a blocker which is precisely what we needed.

The Jaguars have 3 picks in the next two rounds, OT, TE and WR in no particular order please.

Jawaan Taylor is still waiting for a call, he was the clear favourite amongst mock drafts to be our #7, wouldn’t be surprised if we snagged him, but as I said, unless Foles gets any weapons we’re going to really struggle.

Well, I must say the Josh Allen pick is a nice surprise, not an immediate need but couldn’t pass on a talent like that. We absolutely must get some tools for Foles now.

We would be Jacksonville, where Foles is a QB with nobody to throw to :(

I’m just hoping we take Hockenson, if we don’t get Foles someone to target we’re just going to face stacked boxes and Fournette running into non existent holes.

Another laughable decision was releasing both Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson, both featured in the post season, and favoured the perennially injured Marquis Lee and the CBA’d Donte Moncrief. Poor.

2020 looks loaded. I’m fearful that the Jags front office are going to try and roll with Bortles for one more season for a few reasons, as I’ve mentioned above we’re hamstrung by cap space so a vet is a no go, no HC other than Marrone is willing to hitch their cart to the Bortles experience...

The decision to retain Bortles is looking more and more horrific, there’s literally no wiggle room for cap space so we can’t go after a vet QB.

I’ve only seen the opening Pick 6 and Tua’s deep TD pass so far, looking forward to catching the highlights later. As a side note, being a Jags fan we seem to have found a spectacularly poor draft class in our search for a new franchise QB, last year was loaded, so too the year before, and...

Indeed. I feel sorry for the folks that dismiss the NFL as rugby with pads on, such a spectacle!
