I don't see why there needs to be an alternative as I don't see why there needs to be a collective name used in the first place, but as you seem to so desperately crave one what's wrong with anxious, impatient, irritable, childish (your word, not mine). It gives a post a bit more credibility...

And someone that wets the bed is either a child or someone with an actual incontinence problem, not someone who would like to see us sign some players. It doesn't matter how you try to twist it, bed wetter is in no way the right term to describe someone who is getting impatient,anxious,irritable.

So call people impatient, not bed wetters ffs. Not hard is it.

How does it not stop there? Have people been marching against the board, pitch invasions, fans boycotting games? No, they've just a got bit worried because we haven't bolstered the squad yet.

This is something that always amuses me, the belief that the ANXIOUS fans will actually be embarrassed if/when we add some quality players, all the people who are not oozing confidence at the moment will be over joyed with new signings.

My suggestion for using the word anxious was meant as a valid replacement for that pathetic phrase you asked for, however considering the thread we're in I put in to context by using team names, quite simple. The only difference is that those that are content simply will not tolerate anybody...

Team Getting Anxious vs Team Suitably Confident? Nothing wrong with them and doesn't use a pathetic phrase you'd expect to hear from a 4 year old. Why does there need to be such a division anyway, we all the same thing for the club, just a shame that those who are a little concerned about...
