Said it before, and l'll say it again, as much as l like him Mitrovic simply isn't a Potter type player, and wouldn't fit into his system of playing.
Over and above that he we probably couldn't, and wouldn't be prepared to afford him anyway.
As l've said many a time before, l'd love to see him in a Brighton shirt, we need a big man up front, he can win the high balls, is mobile which Potter wants, and most importantly of course has goals in him.
We really do need a Murray replacement in the Murray mould, we are far too lightweight...
I do rate him actually, but his disciplinary record will always be a worry. All pretty pointless anyway as we won't be signing him. I'm 99.9% recurring sure, that any new marquee signing(s) will come from overseas clubs.
Well this will be his second full season of trying to get Fulham promoted to the Premier League, if he doesn't manage to do it this time what makes you thing that a current Premier League side will snap him up? Maybe someone will take a chance on him, but it's by no means a foregone conclusion.
Sky sources are usually more accurate than most though. As to whether Newcastle would wish to sell him to a relegation rival however, is another matter entirely.
