About an hour earlier for me, then I might, just might, be able to get back to St.Peter's Church, in time to catch the last 17 that goes as far as Cowfold.
Last ime I only just made the very last 17 which terminates at Henfield, and had to call the wife out.
Edit. She was far from happy.
Hmmm possible FA Cup replays not withstanding of course. Hence the problem with trying to find a free date for the rescheduled Newcastle game. It would also be nice to get the game over and done with whilst we are still playing well, just in case we suffer a dip in form.
It might put Cardiff fans out, but we need to give the game every chance of being played. The very last thing that we don't want is a potential fixture pile up later in the season.
Actually that's a very good point, let him serve his suspension for a game he wouldn't be picked for anyway. ;Problem is, if tomorrow's game gets postponed again, we could end up with a fixture backlog on our hands, and that's the last thing we need.
Oh!, to answer my own question, we have the original ref back, Chris Kavanagh, with the wonderful Keith Stroud as fourth official.
Keith Stroud, the one referee who has officiated at the Amex so often, he could find his way here with his eyes closed . . . or in the fog.
Stop bickering you two!
I'd say that fog is a very real possibility on Tuesday evening. The question is, exactly how much will form? . . . oh, and who is the referee?
