Yes the aussies certainly have. How about Walkabout?, a film from the early 70's starring a young, nubile, and very naked, Jenny Agutter.

Oh Mr. Porter.. The pre-war classic comedy. with the great Will Hay, (possibly my fave comedy actor ever), Moore Mariott, and Graham Moffatt. Dated now obviously, but very much of it's time, and allegedly it was partly through watching this film, that gave Jimmy Perry his idea for Dads Army.
