Just one final thing on this subject, if you were at the back of the queue and numbers were such that you didn't think you were going to get on, how on earth did you hear what the driver was saying?, surely you would have been much to far away from the door to hear?

I wasn't there so it's difficult for me to comment, but even if the driver was right not to move the bus due to it having too many passengers on-board, surely he was bound by rules and regulations to at least give customers his drivers number, if not his name, when politely requested?. The...
