UEFA will give it to whoever makes them the most money.

Why would we put a plan in place for something that might never happen? Surely you get the thing and then have years to plan for it, rather than plan for it for years and then don't get it?

It's 6 years away. How long should we wait? Have you ever been to football in Europe? It's far worse in many countries than it is here. The problems that happened at Wembley in the Summer are completely fixable with lessons learnt. If we wait too long we'll forget the lessons.

Right. So no point in bothering to try and do something better then, might as well give up.

Why? Would it not be a good thing for the FA to learn from the mistakes of what happened at Wembley, and use the lessons learnt to put on a brilliant tournament? How would that be a bad thing?
