I was quite taken aback to find fried banana served with my fry-up in Ireland a few years ago. Can’t recall if this was a BnB in the Republic or Northern Ireland as we were in both. It actually worked quite well.
Nothing particularly British about those last two. Every country I lived/worked in thought they were exceptional. If anything, most people here seem to think the UK is a shit country. I’m exceptional for disagreeing!
