Ah, you can't talk about the islands as a single concept and ignore Talisker... Islay as an production area of its own is very often used though.- Cian

Cardhu is my preferred Speyside, if Speyside is what you're going for (on the suggestions above anyway). Decent introduction - not that its priced as entry level - and not overly peaty.- Cian
