Merchant and RG must be like kids in a self indulgent sweetshop being able to take their pick of any bygone TV celeb like Cheggars or Corbett that they choose. I can't imagine many people turning them down. Equally I doubt many of the younger viewers have a clue who a lot of these characters...

Agreed. Not sure how many on here are old enough to have seen 70s sitcoms but it is a brilliant take off of the tackiness of the cheap sets, poor scripts and ham acting that you used to get in those shows (Reggie Perrin excepted of course ;) ). For me Gobbler is to Extras what Comic Book Guy...

I didn't think it could get any worse after last week's effort (the only decent bit being Gobbler dressed up as a Chinese bloke), but tonight's was an absolute corker. :clap2:
