No, I understand. I just don't agree it would be very easy and there is a bigger danger of not resurfacing for several years. I don't have the time to do the estimated maths right now, but if you work out the attendace dip and match day spend you'd see massive financial cuts in league one...
You shouldn't compare us to Brentford or Bournemouth either! What about Sheffield utd or Doncaster who mustered a good l1 squad then go relegated. For every team that gets promoted and done well there are teams that struggle, Rotherham?
What about Coventry, nice new stadium got relegated...
We could also end up doing the same thing in league one with 12-15k crowds. Think of the lost revenue and what impact that would have on the club.
I honestly think Friday is D-day for Hyppia, I hope we win and we turn it all around, but I just can't see it!
I can't see how dropping down a league heightens our chances of promotion to the premier league? Dropping down a league results in our best players leaving and if our past recruitment has anything to go by then wed more than likely struggle in league one.
I personally think Bloom is hoping for...
I'm normally one of the last people to call for the managers head, but the results speak for themselves. Hyppia's result before us were poor, making the decision to employee him odd.
Everyone I speak to wants him out, but is there anyone out there currently thinking we should give him more time?
