Fourth & Church is ****ing good. Can't be bothered to write a review but there was a steak tartare served with cured galician beef which was proper nice and some tomatoes with a ridiculously nice goats cheese too. Wine on point as usual.
9/10 second best restaurant in town (that I've been to).
Yep, Bankers is right up there too.
Should mention I went back to the Little Fish & Chip Shop and was underwhelmed for a second time.
Also made it to Five Star Kebabs who had a pop up at Platf9rm. Posh kebabs at high end prices. Basically all of the food was great, though I thought the duck...
Yo. Last night we finally got round to trying the Little Fish & Chip Shop on Upper Hollingdean Road. Started up by the guy from Baby Bao at the Pond it offers up regular chippy stuff with some amazing sounding specials. Being our first visit we went straight up cod and chips with some salt and...
Pretty residential round there so more than likely they have to shut early, only ever been for lunch though.
Cor this is tough. Possibly the Roundhill who do a vegetarian menu which is menat to be decent (will be going there myself this month). Errr, what about Moshimo? Not a pub but the drinks...
Yeah the cut off was last night here. They just changed the menu again, which they are doing every two/three weeks.
We really like everything to be honest, but mostly stick to the veggie dishes, their mung bean dal (Moong Dal and Spinach Shaak) is particularly good though so get that for sure.
Got a lazy pizza delivery for dinner last night as it was ****ing hot and Uber had 2 for 1 on pizzas from Rustico at Fiveways which meant it was just as cheap at getting one from a shop. I've not used this place before as it's one of those places where you already know what their food will be...
Cor the Spanish know how to eat don't they.
Had a Pizza 500 on Friday, which has become my go to pizza. They must be getting really busy as it took a while and was a tad more sloppy than usual but the ingrediants are a cut above anything else in this town so it still rated highly.
Back to...
Cin Cin soon to be partnering with Flour Pot bakery to provide click and collect dishes, I think they are starting this Sunday/Monday with a lasagne but will be expanding the range too. Veggie option available.
This is on top of the Cin Cin at home that is already running. I've been really...
We finally got round to this the other day. Really really good and easily up there with Curry Leaf, if not better. Excellent lamb and potato stew and the mung bean effort is really good too. Portions plentiful. We over ordered and I thought we had under ordered, luckily i love a leftovers lunch...
Tuesday difficult but did you see Wild Flor and Petis Pois have started up at weekends?
I’ve only had Curry Leaf of the proper restaurants so far that serve midweek.. Pizza 500 was good but I love their pizzas anyway, bu they do additional like arancini and lasagne and what not.

Little Meat Market
Started in the Craft Beer Co which had Buxton Spa pale on the pumps which was a ****ing delight. Proper beer.
Anyway on to the LIttle Fish Market where the delightful front of house...
Little Meat Market has had some cancellations so if yOu do want to get there this week then you may still get a table.
In other news ex-Upper Gardner Street residents Silo just got a glowing review in the Times so the move looks to have been a good one. Fair play.
