Great call. Can't name a favourite but a few that I adore are: Carole King - Tapestry Michelle Shocked - Short, Sharp, Shocked Beth Orton - Trailer Park And anything by Hafdis Huld, Emiliana Torrini or Bjork. The Icelandics do it for me every time.
