[Albion] Was forcing Sanchez out the worst decision our club has made in years?

Ramsdale made a horrendous error Saturday that led directly to a goal, then pulled off a couple of worldies. In isolation they can mean a lot or they can mean very little. By the same token I can recall Steele shipping threes (multiple times) fours (multiple times) fives and sixes. Often in the...

[Albion] Was forcing Sanchez out the worst decision our club has made in years?

People pick and choose what’s happening at Chelsea to suit their agenda at any one time. One minute they are a joke club who wouldn’t know their arse from their elbow with a clueless approach to recruitment; then the next they are a great judge of ability? Besides, if the choice is...

[Albion] Was forcing Sanchez out the worst decision our club has made in years?

Ha! That’s being kind tbh. It’s a complete joke of an answer. Slagging off someone’s character and professionalism as a truism and then saying, “I read it on NSC” is an interesting defence. For what it is worth, I heard exactly the opposite from well-placed sources I trust. Plus other comments...

What we got for him was Steele and Bart playing musical chairs in nets and no clean sheets for 8 months.

Like I say, why bother fighting for a place at a club where the manager doesn’t want or rate you? Better to move on, for all concerned.

Every team in the PL will create chances and get shots on goal, no matter how good the defence is. It simply isn’t sustainable to have a keeper who concedes those chances at the rate we do. The fact we were the last club to keep a clean sheet out of the whole 92 tells is own story.

100% this. Sod the penalties; Sanchez played 120 minutes in a cup semi final vs Manchester United at Wembley and kept a clean sheet. de Zerbi sticks Steele in goal vs Everton at home and we’re one down in minutes (what a surprise) and go on to lose 1-5. Similarly calamitous keeping at Forest...

[Albion] Was forcing Sanchez out the worst decision our club has made in years?

Don’t need stats to see what is blatantly obvious, which is that sadly Steele (and Bart to a lesser extent) are miles off the level that is required when facing PL quality opposition week in week out. ‘Getting us going’ from the back is all a bit redundant when anything on target coming back...

I'll be honest, I'm not a massive fan of how you use this Board and how you engage with other posters. You're going to have to moderate it a bit or I'll do it for you. Thanks.

If I were him I’d be looking for a new club tbh.
