Sorry, I've been sticking up for Zaha on this thread, but given the respective 'strength of schedule' of Liverpool and Palace how on EARTH do you come to that conclusion? If that isn't an example of someone just being blinded and having their opinions warped by pure hero-worship I don't know...

I agree with you there, he hasn't been tested at a higher level and he might well flop, Palace fans over-praising him means nothing. In other words he could turn out to be just a souped-up Jeff Minton ...

I think the nub of the debate is: it is confidence or arrogance? At least he hasn't got the attitude of: "Shit, look at all those star players, we haven't got a hope, they'll beat us because they always do". Whether he's got the talent to warrant his self-confidence is of course another matter...

I think that quote's been taken a little out of context. At the very worst it proves the lad's got a bit of confidence, good luck to him. I appreciate the non-England fans on here won't share my sentiments.
