    I've done two courses and both said there was a 10%error. Had to because of inaccuracy of most Speedos. Also they can only put them in acknowledged sites with warning signs. It would appear that these courses are not singing from the same hymn sheet. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    The circumference of the tyres is only a small part. There is a drive from the engine relating to rpm and also from the ecu on more modern cars. When all these components are put together you get a read out on your dash panel. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    You're contradicting yourself in your post. Speedos read faster than you're actually doing. The 10% rule is there to allow for discrepencies in the way your speedometer gets its information. For example brand new tyres have a greater circumference than very old near the legal limit ones...
