That was Socrates, I think. He turned out for Garforth Town. He died fairly recently, too. He was only in his late 50s, if I remember correctly.- Brian Fantana

It's clearly just a massive PR stunt from Basingstoke. There are probably only a handful of teams in the world that he'd consider signing for, and comfortably we're not one of them.- Brian Fantana
