That's exactly my point - anything can happen, both on and off the field. Yet any Albion fans on this thread claiming that we could have an advantage in recruitment in future years are dismissed as lunatics by Palace fans.

I think that's a little naive. Pulls picked the team, brought some belief, signed a few decent players, but the team had to actually deliver on the pitch.

That's exactly it, though - half way through the season. We can knock Palace in a number of areas, but their current performance on the pitch is not one of them.
