The 5-0 didn't hurt THAT much, given how gash we were at that time. The 0-2 on the other hand was bloody AWFUL, considering that we'd done the hard work in the 1st leg and had the better team on paper.
I'm not claiming it's going to start churning out and attracting amazing players as soon as the doors open! My point was that Palace fans dismissing the possibility that we might become a more attractive proposition for young players in future years are making themselves look a bit foolish IMHO.
That's exactly my point - anything can happen, both on and off the field. Yet any Albion fans on this thread claiming that we could have an advantage in recruitment in future years are dismissed as lunatics by Palace fans.
