    Sadly I think you're right. It will probably be followed up with T20 joining the Olympics money spinning machine and affirming itself as "cricket". Test cricket will dwindle away to the odd match here and there :(

    Bearing in mind that a large part of county teams income is based around T20, I would imagine decreasing the number of t20 teams will signifcantly hit the counties that aren't particpating or are sharing a franchise with another county. Some teams will signifcanlty benefit from this while others...
