[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

There will be shuttles to the ground, which we will be highly advised to use, although some will make their own way to the ground. An alternative is this private transfer: https://www.northstandchat.com/threads/private-seated-rome-stadium-transfers.406688/ There are plenty of...

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

The top tier is always set to equal the number of tickets available. ALWAYS. So the top tier would have been c3,400 people. And those 3,400 people all indicated they were intending to buy by pre-registering, with anyone over 301 pointe before the pre-reg knowing they were guaranteed a ticket...

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

All the "decent flights" ie direct to Rome from a London airport went within about 10 minutes of the draw taking place. To get there now you either have to allow more time - there are still good and well-priced options direct to Rome on Tuesday for example - and/or be creative. Many of us have...

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

Yes - this has always been the case. But the 1901er's position to buy is the same as any other fan, ie they'll need 268 points to be in tier 1 for Roma.

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

It's nothing to do with Roma, but the local police - Albion wanted more tickets but were denied. For the police, away fans in the ground is probably the easy bit of the job. I guess it's more to do with the concerns of having up to 50% more fans in the city / needing to be protected / having...

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

There'll be 3,400 of us in an area with c5,000 seats - no-one will care where anyone sits (stands).

[Albion] Are you going to Rome? + ticket allocation / purchase discussion!

The allocation is nothing to do with Albion fan demand - the club wanted more and hoped for 4,000. Seems Albion fan's reputation for raping, pillaging and luzzing white plastic chairs right across Europe was known to the Rome police, and they refused any more tickets being allocated to us...

The club have been in negotiations with both Roma and the local police today. News is "imminent".

I've heard 3,400 from somewhere or other. Can't recall now. Celtic had 3,600 for Lazio (same stadium) in November just gone. Leicester had 5,000 for Roma in May 22.

I expected 2pm today for tier 1 and 9am tomorrow for tier 2. But it feels a bit late for that now, so I'm revising to: Tier 1 - tomorrow 9am Tier 2 - tomorrow 2pm ...which might not be great for those travelling to Wolves, but we need to get on with this now, don't we?

Based on Liverpool tier 1 being 322 points and Roma tier 1 being a maximum of 301 points, and Liverpool tier 2 being 248 points, you should be in tier 2 for Roma, which is likely to give you a decent chance.

Actually, I've forgotten this isn't a regular sale. Only those who pre-register are included so this will lower the Tier 1 threshold due to all those who don't pre-register. You could well be right and this sits at 300 points, or maybe even a bit lower.
