There's no indication that any travel options are being scrapped or reduced. In fact I'm not clear if this is the removal of all coach subsidies, or just those that travel from outside of the club's defined travel zone.
From the supporters' charter:
TRAVEL LEVY
A Travel Levy of £50 per season, per adult, for 19 league games will be applied to all season ticket holders.
The concession levy is £25 for under-21s, under-18s and over-65s. There will also be a levy added to 2018/19 league matchday ticket prices for...
No, I think I read it as you intended, and I sort of agree.
I can see how those who use no form of club-provided transport would feel aggrieved at paying a £50 a season transport subsidy for something they don't use but, like you, there is the "greater good" reason.
The club's transport system clearly costs a significant sum to provide, match by match, and without it none of us would have Premier League football to go and watch.

I'm not a Seagull Travel STH but I do use the service occasionally, generally when I either need to be back home sharpish after a game and/or when I have one of my children with me. We tend to catch the train over for...
The most damning part of that communication is the not-so-subtle dig at Chris Hughton's uber-negative brand of football, that may have us heading back to the Championship.
If it's the thread I am thinking of, I think the message got a bit lost amongst some suggestions that no one would be getting inclusive travel in the near future.
