I really enjoyed it - probably my favourite to date.
The notes on the can indicate it's not as sour as they normally make it, so a milder taste to help break people in. I'm keen to try similar kinds like this.
Curiously, given my comment about cans on this thread, I had all the cans before the...
Ha! That reminds me - earlier in this thread someone asked about cider boxes. I found a few, but none with such good introductory offers...

The move from botttles to cans seems t be progressing at quite a rate, based on my unscientific study of the Tesco Worthing craft beer section. There are far more cans now than there were even a few months ago.
Seemed to be a real variety - I certainly saw some 3.x%. One of my favourites, which I have quite often is Brewdog's Dead Pony Club and that's a 3.x% too.
I tell you what's interesting, given the earlier exchange on the subject, is that the cans are more appealing. Maybe it's the funky design.
It may well be the Chorlton Slow Beer "fruity and a bit sour" as it intrigues me. Happy to wait until the Friday night drinking thread to taste test with...

Sounds a bit like the cork/screw top debate in the wine world and trying to break the cork = real wine, screw top = plonk perception.
I guess, thinking back to pre-craft days, bottles/cans was a bit of a differentiator. Crap lager came in cans, typically a 4-pack of 440mls, whilst better beer...
A lot is, yes and I don't think I've bought one yet.
It's completley illogical, I fully appreciate, but for me there is something that feels more 'premium' having a beer in a glass bottle than an aluminium can. I generally swig from the bottle too, not bothering with a glass, but I wouldn't...
I'd certainly be delighted to receive one of these as a Christmas present, yes! And at £14 for 10, it seems a lot cheaper than the beer boxes I've seen in the shops in the run up to Christmas. Better beers too, I imagine.
A quick update: as part of my order, I was able to add 2 more beers (making 10 in total) for free. So, 10 beers (plus magazine and beer snack) for £14 all in.
This does bump me up to the more expensive 10 beer/month plan but, again, this can be cancelled or changed at any time, without cost.
Those into craft beer have discussed these sort of subscription boxes from time to time so, getting a little bored with the same selections in the shops, I'm going to take the plunge with Beer52's offer of a Craft Beer Crate for £14 including FREE shipping.
For this you get 8 craft beers, a...
