A lovely, albeit expensive city. Whatever you do, do not walk around or stay near the East Hastings Street area. It is simply the pits - every drop out, drug taker/dealer, rough sleeper is there. Even the hotel we stayed in (I didn't book it!) had a bouncer on the door! On the plus side...
