    I have often go on the ticket site to see what's available, put a few in my basket (where they stay for 20mins) then contacted family/friends to see if they want them, if not I empty the basket. I think this happens a lot as I often see seats disappear then become available again. Guess this...

    It's an 'opt in' to be on the list. You get the membership, but you then have to apply to be on the ST waiting list.

    I buy a fair few single tickets, as do quite a few ST holders I know when friends or family come to visit and want to come along - you just nab the nearest single seat to you. I expect they serve their own purpose to a particular set of purchasers.

    Yep, but they've paid their money which they'll need to do each season, so I see it as they're entitled to wait and make their choice. I suppose that is especially relevant to you if you don't want any of those on offer.

    Think Bozza has one of his children on the waiting list like I do, so not to do with being an existing ST holder. My daughter is around 2700 – so coming around a lot quicker than expected. I suspect that the STs on offer might not suit those on the waiting list who are after a particular stand...
